What you should know before your first extraction.
Does BRAVOS need electricity?
The pneumatic extraction mechanism does not use an electric pump. You still need a safe source of hot water and must use the pressure system exactly as instructed.
Is it an Italian-made machine?
It is an Italian-style pneumatic espresso maker. “Italian-style” describes the concentrated coffee method and design language; it is not a claim that the product is manufactured in Italy.
Does it make real espresso?
It is designed to use regulated pressure through finely ground coffee to create a concentrated espresso-style extraction. Results depend on the bean, grind, dose, water temperature and correct pressure operation.
Can I use it inside a truck or car?
It is suitable for travel, but prepare coffee only while safely parked, on a stable surface and in a ventilated area. Never operate or handle hot water while driving.
Which cartridges should I use?
Use only the compatible food-grade 16 g cartridge type specified in the supplied manual or confirmed for your exact unit. Never improvise adapters or substitute an unapproved gas source.
What coffee should I use?
Freshly ground coffee with an espresso-style grind is the natural starting point. Fine adjustments to grind and dose change flow and strength, so test gradually.
What comes in the complete package?
You receive the complete BRAVOS set: the metal brewing body, dual-gauge pressure regulator with pressure-relief valve, one compatible food-grade 16 g CO₂ cartridge, 200 ml graduated measuring vessel, reusable metal filter screen, removable brewing and collection components, sealing ring and retaining clip. Coffee, grinder and hot water are not included.
How do I clean it?
Fully release pressure, disconnect the pressure source, allow all components to cool, remove spent grounds and wash the appropriate removable coffee-contact parts according to the supplied care guide.
PRESSURE & HEAT SAFETY: This is a pressurised hot-water appliance. Use only compatible food-grade cartridges and original/approved fittings. Inspect seals before use, increase pressure gradually, never exceed the supplied operating limits, never open the chamber while pressurised, fully vent before disassembly, keep away from children and heat sources, and never use while a vehicle is moving. The gauges are operating aids—not permission to exceed the product manual.
